Questions, answered honestly
Straight answers about how prescription peptide therapy works at Clyne.
Are peptides FDA-approved?
Some peptides are FDA-approved active medications. Many others are compounded by a licensed pharmacy — compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. A regulatory category that permits compounding is not the same as FDA approval.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Peptide therapy at Clyne is prescription-only. You complete a medical intake online, and a licensed provider reviews your history and decides whether peptide therapy is appropriate for you.
Where are the peptides made?
Where a peptide is compounded, it is prepared by a licensed US compounding pharmacy. FDA-approved actives are dispensed under standard prescription rules.
Will I need lab work?
Some peptides call for baseline and follow-up labs; others may not. Your provider decides what's needed based on your health and the therapy being considered.
Why are some peptides listed as “in education” only?
Several peptides are under regulatory review and are not currently available to prescribe. We provide honest educational information about them and let you join a waitlist; if their status changes, we'll notify you.
How is my treatment delivered?
If a provider prescribes peptide therapy, your medication ships to you and is billed as an ongoing monthly subscription with provider oversight.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Your peptide subscription can be canceled at any time from your account.
Is peptide therapy right for everyone?
No. Peptides carry potential risks and side effects, and they are not appropriate for everyone. The available human evidence varies a lot between peptides. A licensed provider evaluates whether the potential benefits outweigh the risks for you.
